Find Local Craft: HandMade Curated Exhibits

HandMade in America coordinates educational exhibits featuring the crafts and craft history of Western North Carolina.

  • Currently we curate exhibits at the I-26 Visitor’s Center, located on I-26 East in Madison County, NC. These exhibits are arranged in partnership with the NC Department of Transportation and rotate on a bi-annual schedule.

  • Travelers can see local craft artists’ work, learn about the regions’ cultural heritage, discover opportunities to see artists at work in their studios, and visit nearby galleries.
